A  Platform Bird Feeder for Your Yard

Although the platform bird feeder has many advantages, one disadvantage is the possibility of squirrels and other pests gaining access.  However, there are screens that can help with this, and if a screen is not an acceptable choice for you, try using a pole mounted baffle to discourage the squirrels from climbing the feeder.
